Privacy notice
This notice explains what information vkRetA handles when people create accounts, operate business workspaces, visit storefronts, place orders or request appointments. It is intended to be read together with the choices shown at the point information is collected.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Information covered by this notice
Account information can include a name, email address, mobile number, verification status and security records. Business information can include a store name, contact details, operating hours, catalogue, images, policies, social links and invoice settings.
When customers use a merchant storefront, the platform may process the information required for an order or appointment, such as name, mobile number, address, selected items or services, booking time and transaction records. The merchant is responsible for deciding which customer information it needs for its business.
Technical information can include session identifiers, security events, request timing and anonymous storefront visit identifiers. vkRetA does not intentionally retain raw visitor IP addresses or user-agent strings in storefront analytics.
Why information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, verify signup requests, provide business workspaces and storefronts, process orders and appointments, generate invoices, prevent abuse, maintain records requested by merchants and understand whether the service is working reliably.
vkRetA does not sell personal information. Information is not used for unrelated advertising profiles in the current product.
Merchants and their customers
A merchant decides why it collects customer information through its storefront and is responsible for providing accurate business policies and responding to its customers. vkRetA provides the technical platform and processes that information to deliver the merchant's requested functions.
Customers should contact the relevant merchant first about an order, appointment, return or correction to merchant-controlled records. vkRetA may assist after confirming the request and the relationship to the account.
Service providers and disclosures
Infrastructure, security, email-delivery and similar service providers may process limited information when necessary to operate vkRetA. They are selected for a defined operational purpose and should receive only the information needed for that purpose.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, to protect users and the platform, or as part of a business reorganisation with appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
Retention and security
Records are retained for as long as they are needed to provide the service, protect accounts, resolve disputes and meet legitimate legal or record-keeping requirements. Different records can require different retention periods.
vkRetA uses access controls, secure session cookies, request-origin checks, rate limits, human verification and tenant ownership checks. No online service can promise absolute security, so users should protect their credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.
Your choices and requests
Subject to verification and applicable requirements, a person may ask about personal information linked to them, request correction or erasure, withdraw a consent-based choice, or raise a grievance. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, transactions or legal obligations.
Use the vkRetA contact page and provide enough information to identify the relevant account, business or storefront. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or unnecessary identity documents through a general message.
Deleting your vkRetA account
Account owners can ask for their vkRetA account and business to be deleted, from the website or the vkRetA Business app. In the app or workspace, open Company profile and choose Delete my account, or email vkreta.in@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the email address registered on the account.
Include the business name. Never send a password or one-time code. vkRetA replies to confirm the request and may ask a simple question to check that it comes from the account owner.
Within 30 days of confirming, vkRetA deletes the sign-in account, staff access, the online store, products, services, customer lists, orders, appointments, uploaded images and phone notification registrations. Invoices, payment records and security logs are kept only for as long as Indian tax, accounting or legal requirements need, and are then deleted.
Children and changes
vkRetA business accounts are intended for people who can lawfully operate or represent a business. The platform is not designed for children to create merchant accounts independently.
This notice may be updated when the product, providers or legal requirements change. The current revision date is shown above, and material changes should be communicated through an appropriate platform notice.
