vkRetA

One system for a product business online and in store

For a product business, vkRetA connects the public catalogue with the product, inventory, order, billing and customer records used behind the counter. It is free to start with up to 25 catalogue items; vkRetA Pro is ₹199 a month for up to 250 items, staff accounts, the credit ledger and more.

Publish what customers need to decide

Organise products into categories, add images, prices, descriptions and variants, and publish the business on a vkRetA subdomain. The same catalogue data supports the merchant workspace and customer-facing site.

A direct website gives the business one link to share through WhatsApp, Instagram, packaging or printed material without treating social media as the permanent product catalogue.

Know what is available

Variant-level stock and inventory movements explain opening quantity, restock, sale, return, damage and adjustment. This helps the merchant understand why the number changed instead of silently replacing it.

Online orders follow a controlled fulfilment lifecycle, and cancellation restores eligible reserved inventory once.

Finish the sale in the same workspace

Bills, discounts, customers, payment allocations and rewards remain connected to the transaction. Public product checkout currently uses cash on delivery rather than advertising an online-payment capability that is not yet live.

How to set up a product business in vkRetA

A product business can start with a small, accurate catalogue and add detail as the routine settles.

  1. Choose the product business model

During onboarding, choose products (or both products and services). This tells vkRetA to present a catalogue, cart and order flow instead of appointment booking.

  2. Create categories and add products

Add each product with a price, description, image and GST rate. Products can be added one at a time or imported from a CSV file, and the catalogue can be exported to CSV again.

  3. Add variants and opening stock

Where a product comes in sizes or colours, add variants with their own SKU, price and quantity, then record the opening stock for each one.

  4. Review and publish the website

Check the business name, logo, contact details and policies, then publish the website on your vkreta.in subdomain and share the link.

  5. Process orders and bills from one list

Accept, pack, ship and deliver cash-on-delivery orders, and create counter bills for walk-in customers. Stock, invoices and customer history update from the same records.
